In short

Tasks track case work with an assignee, due date, priority and status. Use a case's Tasks tab for one matter and My Tasks for everything you owe. Start from a checklist template, link tasks to hearings, orders or documents, and see them on a calendar with your hearings. Tasks are included in paid plans and the free trial.

Checklist templates

Common starting points include New brief filed, Order received, Appeal prep, Evidence stage and Client intake (KYC).

Working together

  • Each task has one assignee and any number of subscribers.
  • Subscribers can choose email and WhatsApp notifications.
  • Comment on a task and see its full history in Activity.
  • Set dependencies (finish to start, start to start, or informational) with an optional offset in days.
  • Court alert follow-ups appear at the top of My Tasks when a court alert finds a listed case you don't follow yet.
