Courts

Court matters for your firm

Track matters in a team workspace, assign them across the team and bring in your existing portfolio.

In short

In a team workspace, court matters can be tracked for the whole firm rather than one person. Workspace Matters lists every matter promoted to the workspace, who it's assigned to and its next hearing. Managers assign matters, control who can see them and can import an existing portfolio. This is available on the Teams and Enterprise plans.

Track a matter in the workspace

  • When you follow a matter, choose Track in this workspace instead of Follow privately.
  • Or open any matter and select Add to workspace, then pick the workspace and an assignee, or leave it unassigned.
  • Works for Supreme Court, High Court, district court, consumer, RERA and tribunal matters.

Workspace Matters

  • See every matter promoted to the workspace as a list or hearings calendar.
  • Filter by Assigned to me, team member, forum and Active or Disposed.
  • Change assignees or remove a matter from the workspace.
  • Choose Share with workspace or Restrict to assignee for each matter.
  • Workspace hearings also appear in the Org view of Tasks.

Import your existing matters

Organisation managers and workspace owners or admins can import a firm's existing court matters into a workspace from Manage organisation. After an import, review each row: assigned, needs verification, needs assignment, or no case match.
