In short
Workspace research is for questions not tied to one case. Open Research, ask in plain language and get cited answers from Indian statutes, judgments, tribunal and regulator decisions, and your documents. Share the research with every workspace member or keep it private, and return to it any time. Team workspaces are available on the Teams and Enterprise plans.
Run research in the workspace
Pick the workspace
Use the Workspace switcher to select the team workspace.
Open Research
Select Research in the left rail, then + New.
Choose a mode
Search to find sources or passages, Research for a reasoned answer, or Deep Research for a fuller analysis.
Choose sources
Legal, Documents or Both. Narrow Deep Research to legal areas, or let NyaI™ choose.
Who can see workspace research
| Conversation | Who can see it |
|---|---|
| Shared | Every member of the workspace |
| Private | Only you |
Research inside a case follows the same idea: shared threads are visible to everyone on the case, private threads only to you.
Find earlier research
- Recent conversations appear in the Research flyout. Select View all conversations for the full list.
- Previous research lists Deep Research, judgment and consolidated research done in the workspace, with a search box.
- Research you run from Claude or ChatGPT through the Bharat.Law connector is saved to the selected workspace too.
Workspace research or case research?
Use workspace research for exploratory or cross-matter questions. Use a case's Research tab when the answer belongs to one client matter, so it stays with that case and its team.
